Creative Ice was built from the ground up by Steve Cox with the help of his wife Julia, and now he is joined by his son Justin who sculpts ice right beside him.

His culinary background introduced him to working with ice, but Steve quickly realized that he enjoyed sculpting ice over working in the food services industry. In 1985 Creative Ice was born!

Naturally talented and wholeheartedly dedicated to his art, Steve quickly gained international credibility as he won competitions around the globe. Steve qualified and was a member of the U.S. Olympic Ice Carving Team for the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. He has also competed in Alaska, Canada, Japan, Hawaii and Nashville.

The business has grown considerably since it was first started in his garage, and now commands an office and warehouse of its own. Employing several staff throughout the busy Holiday seasons to assist with all of the deliveries, Creative Ice averages 15-20 Sculptures in the average week and as many as 40-50 during the busiest.

Justin has been sculpting ice with his dad since 2006, but has ridden along on deliveries since he was just 5 years old.
